Adaero Precision Components have now taken delivery of 3 new Fanuc Robodrills and 1 Nakamura WT 150 lathe. Andy Dickinson, Managing Director of Adaero decided to purchase the 4 new machines because of the amount of new work which Adaero have received recently, and also with the new machines Adaero will be able to maintain the tolerances and finishes that our customers would expect from a good engineering company.

The Robodrills have all been fitted with zero point tooling which enables our engineers to set the machines quicker, so there is less down time, which will save Adaero and in turn our customers money, and make sure of more accurate setting of the machines.

The Nakamura Lathe is a twin spindle multi axis CNC machining centre, the latest model from Nakamura Japan, and comes complete with a barfeeder so as the machine can be run during the night and at weekends unmanned. As the machine is a twin spindle lathe and the axis rapid traverse is 40000, the machine will produce a large amount of high spec parts in a very short time.
